How is Columbus Day still a thing?

Rosie O’Donnell talks to the Twitter user who helped bring those “alleged” attackers out of hiding in Philadelphia.

Priceless!

And here’s The Weekly ShoutOUT™. Each week we’re going to focus on one out athlete/performer and feature a daily pic and career timeline. We’ll be showcasing the big names, but also the lesser-known gay celebs who deserve more recognition. This week we give a ShoutOUT™ to … David DeCoteau.

I’ve given 52-year-old Canadian filmmaker David DeCoteau yearly tributes on this site, but it’s time he gets a real ShoutOUT™. He’s most famous for his line of “Boxer Brief Horror Films,” which we’ll get to later this week, but he got his start working with legendary Roger Corman. You can read a great interview about his early career by some bozo over at CampBlood, and here’s the trailer for one of his first mainstream directorial efforts, 1987′s classic Creepozoids

We covered the 90′s once before, so let’s try it again … with the 100 Greatest Top Ten Hits By 90′s Female Artists. There are only two rules: They all hit the Billboard Pop Top Ten, and they’re all from solo female artists or groups with female lead vocalists. Sure, you’ll hear the expected “Justify My Love” and “My Heart Will Go On,” but you’ll also hear songs I’m sure you haven’t thought of since the 90′s.

Ay #90 is “I Wanna Love You Forever” by Jessica Simpson. It’s easy to forget that before she was a reality show trainwreck (which she’s been coasting on for a decade), Jessica Simpson had an actual career, which started with this big, bombastic power ballad, her only top ten hit, which peaked at #3 in December 1999.

Congrats to Jwb52z, who guessed that Friday’s Pixuzzle™ © ® was Season One Of American Horror Story.
